Gloria Flórez, of the Association for Alternative Social Policy (MINGA), an organization that provides human rights education and training materials to local human rights organizations. MINGA also collects and provides information about abuses committed by paramilitary groups, guerrillas, and the military to international human rights organizations. Gloria is one of four Colombia human rights activists who received the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award in November 1998.
Gloria will travel to several cities with Colombia Human Rights Network committees and will be available for limited engagements in other cities, from March 1-20, 1999. The following is the planned itinerary:
